ANIME EVOLUTION 2009

I'm quite disappointed with this year's AE, simply because there were no Gundams or Armored Cores to buy. Sadly, I have sealed my own fate by already buying so much Gundam that I no longer have to buy anything anymore anytime soon.

I DID buy a freaking load of posters this year to compensate, however, and have filled my room to capacity with this giant picture of Rukia that I can now oogle constantly. Awesome.

NOTABLE EVENTS
1. 'Gundam 00' Season 2 Panel - Richard Ian Cox is now one of the funniest guys on Mother-Freaking-Earth. Granted, I don't really like his voice, but him and Brad Swaile are now in my list of the awesomest English voice-actors ever.

Gabe Khouth was also a cool guy.

2. Auction - I regret not buying a Gundam 00 poster with the entire English cast's signatures on it from Brad Swaile. I AM NOW THE BIGGEST IDIOT. Please kill me or invent time-travel. Still, the auction was no doubt the best and funniest part.

3. Bands - they suck.

4. Games Tournament - ugh, how exciting can playing Smash Bros. Brawl be with no unlocked characters, no items, and Final Destination? WTH, man!? At least the RockBand was better.

5. Jesus - that's right: famed composer Frederic Francois Chopin had a picture. With Jesus. With Frederic Chopin. Doing the thumbs-up. With Jesus. Wow. I gotta upload that.

It's not blasphemous unless he did something stupid. Like Caramelldansen for one. Ugh, Caramelldansen Jesus. GARGGH! My brain just imploded from the stupidity. I wonder if...

OH MY GOD!! SOMEBODY DID! Somebody actually made a caramelldansen Jesus! [link] What the F*** is the matter with you--- HOLY **** ON A **** BUCKET!! Jesus AAAAND Buddha! WTF? WWWHHHHHHYYYYYY? [link]

6. My favorite part of the day? Going to the WaterFront FoodCourt right across the street and watching normal people (and the hundreds of Tourist Buses) wonder what the hell is going on.

And there's nothing funnier than a reaction from a person when you tell them you are the famed composer Frederic Chopin. Who played a Japanese RPG before he died.


HOW WAS IT? Well, I'm still disappointed that Chris and/or Sam wasn't there. I rather enjoyed the mindless times we spent every year playing Naruto or BattleStadium D.O.N. for hours in the Games Room.

And to be honest, the Vancouver Convention Centre was big, sure. But it didn't have grass. And I love my grass.

And once again, to be honest... I kinda miss the wackiness of being glomped by random people carrying Yaoi padd--- actually, no, wait, I don't miss that. Maybe getting paddled in the ass, sure, but not the glomping.

Maybe you can forget I said that last part.


LEFT 4 DEAD 2
If you don't know what 'Left 4 Dead' is, it's a game that was released end of last year, 2008. It was a great game created by Valve, and has been receiving great updates for free every week. Or only 2 if you have the XBox 360 version instead.

When 'Left 4 Dead 2' was announced in E3 2009, fanboys (ie. losers) went nuts that apparently Valve so-called 'betrayed' their stupid fans for releasing a new game so early and NOT for free. So much so that 25,000 actually signed a petition to boycott it.


So let me get this straight... there are actually 25,000 people on this planet that are cheap a-holes who want free **** out of their favourite company because they got too comfortable? Ugh, this fills me with so much RAGE that I had to write about it and now I am.

Valve actually compromised to this, but I say that Valve's fans don't deserve it. I'd much rather ignore them, and by ignore them, I meant 'kill 25,000 I don't like'.


IN OTHER NEWS
I haven't uploaded anything in a while, but mostly because I'm kinda burnt out at the moment. Concentrating on writing for the meantime for something I haven't updated in over a year, and drawing new original characters just so I can kill the monotony. Maybe I'll upload some pictures of AE near the future.
